I have been taking classes with my three dogs at Tymtel's for the last 7
years. I think our success comes from the fact that Donna does not train
all owners and dogs the same but adjusts her methods to fit the
students. There is no ONE right way at Donna's as I feel she believes we
are all individual. |

I got my sheltie when he was 7 months old. He took over my home. He was
a very busy boy who pushed every limit. I was feeling overwhelmed and
frustrated. Luckily I saw Donna on a cable pet show and she was able to
see me the next day. Donna has the uncanny ability to size up your dog's
behavior and your learning needs in just a few minutes. You work as a
team to decide what you want from your dog and how to get it. She came
to our rescue. I now have a well-behaved dog and enjoy the many
compliments we get for his good manners. It does take time and effort
but worth every minute.
Her classes are fun and positive. With limiting the class size you have
lots of individual attention. She encourages questions about any
difficulties you both might be having. Donna has an extensive knowledge
base and her experience speaks for itself. With so many different canine
personalities and abilities when the first method doesn't work she
amazes me with how many solutions she can create. Often times we need to
try several but she always finds one that works. Donna works with your
learning style. I need the "visual" and with her being "hands on" often
times she is there making you aware of subtle body language cues.
I continued with obedience classes because Marley loves to work and I
enjoy the sporting aspect of it. A special bond develops between you and
your dog when you work together. Classmates are supportive "dog people".
Marley and I are loving our journey through life together and I am so
grateful to Donna for helping make it an
enjoyable one. She is highly recommended by me. |

OTCH SHIBASAN'S YOSHIKO, TDX is the first and only Shiba in Canada to
receive a Utility degree in Canada. We owe it all to Donna. The Shiba
breed is very independent and hard to train. Donna teaches us to be
patience and to understand how a dog thinks and to work with them
instead of the old forceful way. Next comes the male Willchris Tatsu
Maki who is very different from the female. We are trying very hard for
a Utility degree with him this year. There is no way to even think of
that without Donna. Now it will be a Papillon who will be a little more
willing to work. Donna has more patience both with people and animals
then anyone I know. I always tell anyone if you are going to try to
train a dog go the best there is... Donna Bradley. |

Kaos and I have both developed a passion for competitive obedience and
all that goes with it. To begin, all the training to help your dog
figure out what his crazy person wants. Prior to trial day, all the
proofing your dog has to put you through to make you ready. Outside the
ring, that last minute crazy toy tug and then finally, have we got it
all together?J
To the person who has never trained obedience, the trials may seem
regimented and boring, really they are anything but. My obedience
instructor, mentor, friend, Donna Bradley maintains that if you are not
having fun….your dog certainly isn’t either. If you are boring….your dog
will be bored. Whether training obedience, herding, or agility, the bond
between you and your dogs will become so intense which words cannot
describe. Kaos has stolen a piece of my heart that will always belong to
him. |

All three of my dogs have benefited greatly from Donna Bradley's expert
help.
Although I live hundreds of kilometres away, I have found it very
worthwhile to make arrangements to get to Donna's small well-structured
classes, over which she presides with great competence and great good
humour.
Whether I brought my fearful rescued Bernese or my immensely strong and
excitable Newfoundland or my clever and opinionated little Corgi, Donna
had a special talent for identifying problems so that we could reach our
goals in both obedience and agility. The enthusiasm with which she
applies that talent has always inspired me to continue to pursue those
goals through the setbacks and successes. |

I must personally thank … Donna Bradley, who took a horrible handler
(me) and a very insevure dog (Cricket) and helped us understand each
other, to become a team, so that we could achieve anything we set our
mind to. |

Over the years I have
taken all levels of training classes in Obedience and Agility with my Toy Poodles, Miniature Pinschers and Papillons from
Donna Bradley. The best place to start your new puppy is her Puppy
Kindergarten Class. A good start with your pup lays the ground work for
anything else you want to teach or do. Donna uses Positive
Motivational Techniques. I highly recommend her small, fun classes! She
is the 'best' at getting results! |

Donna Bradley is an exceptional dog trainer as
well a creative and gifted
teacher. During the 5 years I have trained with Donna, I have scored
very
well in the competition obedience ring, but more importantly, I have
foundation knowledge of how dogs learn. I now understand what it means
to train a dog to do any behavior I want! Whether you want a
competition dog or a well-trained companion dog, I would recommend Donna
as a trainer. |

I find Donna has
such a depth of knowledge about dog personalities and people
personalities that she is able to quickly assess a pair and get
them working together. Donna also has many backup
suggestions. If something is not working she shows you
another method to get the same solution. She also puts
humour into her lesson, sometimes with the way a person is
working with their dog. I she has on many occasions
brought to life how the dog may not be learning with the method
I have been using. Anyway, Donna, thanks for helping me
enjoy bringing up my pup.

What can I say about
Tymtel's classes? Not enough for this small space. I have attended classes taught by Donna Bradley for over 13 yrs, and each
of the dogs I have trialed has won High in Trial. The lessons are
motivating, focused, adjusted for each dog/handler team, and incorporate techniques
that are time honoured and humane.
Puppy classes are fun while encouraging the puppy to "learn how to
learn;" adult classes encourage precise, yet happy working dogs.

Donna has an amazing gift to be able to
educate, problem-solve, inspire and encourage her students all
at the same time. She genuinely wants her students to achieve
success whether their goal is to earn their very first
CD degree or to become one of Canada's Top Obedience Dog
teams. Thanks for everything Donna. Keep up the great
work!" |
